“As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.” – Jesus, John 17:18
I love that the people of Heritage Church have a growing passion for honoring a global God by seeking to fulfill His global mission.
This past weekend we spent some time looking at the realities of that global mission and emphasizing our missional work and partnerships around the world. Its all part of our Global Outreach [GO] weekends, which is a good opportunity to see what God is doing beyond our church doors for His Kingdom.
Part of every GO Weekend involves Faith Promise giving, which is a time to prayerfully determine how God wants each of us to give above and beyond our regular giving to support our global investments. It always involves a step of faith, but God always shows up in our obedience.
This year we set our goal at $320,000.
Through this money, our partners around the world will have the resources they need through the coming year, and we’ll continue to make a difference for Christ and His Kingdom.

There are a lot of meaningful things we can do in this life, but none of them begin to compare to the privilege of joining a Holy God in the work that He is already doing in our workplaces, our communities, our cities and countless other places around the world.
I’m truly excited to see how the Lord will move in response to the prayers and faithfulness of His people.
Your faithfulness and willingness to make a difference in the lives of other will leave a legacy for generations to come. Your giving will continue to ensure “that a people not yet created may praise the LORD.” [Psalm 102:18b]
See you next weekend as we continue to unpack what it means to live SENT locally!
Here’s the message from the weekend in case you missed it.
